Ten years ago, an everyday conversation between two sweaty mums during the school run, turned into a reality. Our vision was to create sustainable, breathable, and stylish fashion for women that would withstand the harsh heat of Dubai. Fast forward to November 2022, a whole lot of linen and rayon voile dresses and skirts later, our 2birds family is thrilled to be celebrating our 10th birthday.
Who would have thought our sweaty school run dreaming would end up like this!?
Known for our vibrant collection of beachy looks and accessories, our styles have become a staple for both locals and tourists alike. We design clothing that not only looks amazing, but also feels amazing. Being Australian by blood and living in the heat of Dubai for many years, we have always understood the priority of comfort, quality, and durability, thus choosing fabrics that allow our body to breathe. This is the secret behind our versatile designs being the perfect staples for warm weather and layering.
In the last ten years, this dream has grown tremendously, with our gorgeous 2birds family continuing to expand beyond Dubai. From a little stall at Ripe Market to opening two of our own shops and shipping worldwide from our online store, our circle just keeps on growing.
We dedicate so much of our success to our amazing, women-empowered support network and our dedication to the ladies who represent the 2birds name. It’s heartwarming to imagine that our sweet Ripe Market stall has reached across oceans to the community that we have today.
To celebrate a decade of 2birds, we hosted an evening with some of the beautiful ladies who have been shopping with us since our story began. Amidst delicious Bussola cocktails and snacks, a stunning sunset, and an array of 2birds dresses on display - throwback and new collections included - we shared immense gratitude for the 10 special years that have gone, and everything that is still to come.
It has been the most wonderful passion-driven journey so far and we couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who has shared the 2birds love along the way. We adore what we do and are constantly working on our ever-evolving designs. Let’s just say, the next decade is looking as bright as our favourite fabrics!
